**UPDATE** A few items have been marked off the list: #3, #10, #12...whoo hoo!!! One week from today will be my 35th birthday - 07.08.09! I'm excited :-)
Let me quickly explain the chapters (yes I actually have written the book, no you can't read it yet):
~ Chapter 1: birth to 17 <<---perfect childhood!
~ Chapter 2: 18 to 28 <<---sheer madness, dumb 20s...dumb, dumb, dumb!
~ Chapter 3: 29 to 34 <<---discovered the real me and learned that she was okay afterall
~ Chapter 4: 35... <<---repositioning myself...bold steps, new frontiers, very exciting!
Okay loved ones (have I told you lately that I love you?)...I promised a few years ago that I would waive doing another birthday wish list until this year. You guys know that I'm pretty low maintenance and independent, so oftentimes it's hard for me to want people or allow people to do things for me. But hey, every girl wants to feel special once in a while right? Well, if you've always wondered how you could do something special for my birthday, here's your chance! I'm giving you 30 days to get it together. The list is in no particular order. Mail to: P.O. Box 87034 Baton Rouge, LA 70816

11.) a new car
12.) tickets/suite passes to the Essence Fest

16.) iPhone or Blackberry Bold
17.) new Maxwell CD
Bottom line, I genuinely love and appreciate everyone who has been a part of my journey, whether from the beginning or if you just joined me recently. My birthday list is really not about me getting stuff, but it's an opportunity to give everyone a shout out and express my gratitude for YOU! I am so thankful for my 34 years...I'm healthy, my mind is sound, I have perfect peace *cue the choir "Never Would've Made It"*...I'm stronger, I'm wiser, I'm better, much better, I should have lost it all, but now I see how you were there for me...when I look back over all you've brought me thru (okay I'm about to take a shout break like Mr. Brown...lol!). I am tremendously blessed and believe me when I say that you being my friend is the greatest gift I could ever have. "...and the greatest of these is Love." 1 Cor 13
